Recently, the cafe enthusiasts admins made a trip down to Orchard Central where we visited a really classy and glamorous Cafe. Now let us tell you more about our experience at Dean & Deluca!
Dean and Deluca is a gourmet store which consists of a bakery, cafe , a deli meat counter , cheese counter and a sundries section. Basically the store is so huge, you cant possibly miss it! As soon as you reach the 4th floor of Orchard central, you will definitely be able to spot it.
We made a trip straight to their Cafe, which is located straight at the heart of the store. Unlike many other cafes, this one is different, orders will be on a self service basis, hence there is no 10% GST charge. I guess thats a good thing right! Now moving on to the food we had.
Okay, a fair warning to you cafe lovers, the food at this cafe is NOT cheap. Indeed it was pricey but the price can be justified by the good food as well as the really lovely environment. It made us feel very classy!

This has got to be the most awesome pancakes we have ever seen! 3 fluffy flap jack pancakes served with a selection of fresh berries, doused in maple syrup. As the saying goes, if its pleasing to the eyes, its heavenly to the stomach. We would definitely give this 5 stars and would definitely recommend that you cafe lovers pay a visit to Dean & Deluca and try this pancake.
All in all, this visit was expensively great! however we do recommend that you share the dishes with your friends to split the bill! The amount spent for these 2 dishes were roughly $40 !
