Here we go again! So the cafe enthusiasts have yet again visited another cafe! This time we made a trip down to Miam Miam Cafe located at WestGate Jurong!

 #01-21/22 Westgate
3 Gateway Drive
Singapore 608532

Basically to put it briefly, Miam Miam is a French - Japanese that offers various dishes fusing french artisanal cuisine and japanese culinary. This is definitely not what you would expect to have on a daily basis. The Variety of food is definitely different from that of an ordinary cafe. Everything on the menu is served fresh, meaning to say that food ordered will be made on the spot! Take a look at how the cafe looks like

The cafe does give off a very relaxing and vibrant feel and is definitely a good place for youths to hang out, especially since it is located near Ngee Ann polytechnic as well as Singapore Polytechnic, both of which just a couple of stops away! Miam Miam cafe has another outlet also located at Bugis. The average expenditure at Miam Miam would range from $15 to $30 depending on the dishes you order. We would say it is rather pricey, however worth a try!

Now, lets talk about the food!
First off, Just Toast
This quintessential French dish, known originally as Pain Perdu is an all-time classic as far as French dessert goes. An all-time favorite among Miam Miam’s guests!

Basically this french toast is rather different than what you can find at per say, Yakun. This dish happens to be a favorite at Miam Miam. Because it is so special, it has to be made fresh for every order and would take roughly 20 to 30 minutes before it will be served. The french toast will be served with cream as well as syrup which we were able to pour onto our toast on our own. It was indeed a splendid combination .

Next on the Menu is the

Valrhona Chocolate Soufflé

heavenly decadent melted chocolate on top of your soufflé!
Yes, it does taste as good as it sounds, a great tasting souffle with melted chocolate! Although it must receive commendations for its deliciousness, the chocolate was a little bit too diluted and would have been better had it been thicker and richer. Nevertheless this is something that must be tried should you visit the cafe.

Now that praises have been sung, we do want to point out that patience is a virtue and that the food will take a while before they are served and the service can definitely be improved. So this ends our thoughts about Miam Miam Cafe, do check this cafe out when you get the chance cafe lovers!
